I speak Law and Finance.
I translate to communicate.
I’m The Legal Translator.
My name is Natalia Torro and I’m The Legal Translator.
I’m a solopreneur and I run a translation studio that grows with passion, hard work, continuous training, and satisfied clients.
I work with lawyers, accountants, notaries, businesses and start-ups and I help them communicate with their target markets.
How? I translate contracts, deeds, financial statements, annual reports, legal blogs, you name it! I have a black belt in legal and financial translation.
I can help you with…
Bank Statements, Banking Products and Services, Insurance policies, Investment and Loan agreements, Banking documentation.
Contracts, Articles of Incorporation, By-laws, Powers of Attorney, Deeds, Patents, Complaints, Judgments, Court Orders, and other legal texts.
Websites, Presentations, Company communications, Brochures, Blogs, Newsletters, Training materials, Manuals, CVs.
Financial & Economic Translation
Economic Reports, Financial Documents, Correspondence, Presentations, and other financial texts.
Annual Reports, Business Plans, Budgets, Financial Statements, among others.
I adapt texts to plain language so it’s easier for your audience to read and understand your content.
I check a text for spelling, punctuation and grammar mistakes to make sure it’s clear and error-free.
I check a translation against the original document for linguistic accuracy, coherence and impact.
How I work
Request for services
First of all, I examine the project to make sure my services fit your needs.
Quote & Deadline
Second, we discuss costs and delivery date. This will be set before I start to work on the project and I’ll send you a written confirmation.
I always proofread my work, but you can also review the project before final delivery if you want.
Delivery & Feedback
Finally, I deliver your project. Of course, feedback is always welcome and I’m happy to make any necessary changes to make sure you get the best result.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Certified Translation from University of Buenos Aires and an MA in Translation from University of Belgrano (Buenos Aires, Argentina). I’m now writing my Master’s Thesis on GDPR, privacy policies and plain language. I also devote time to Continuing Professional Development so I take courses and go to Translation Conferences, both as attendee and as presenter. This turned out to be one of my favorite things: I love meeting colleagues and learning about new trends in the sector. It’s a good chance to see a bit of the world beyond my desk. I speak three languages (Spanish, English and French) and I’m working hard towards my new professional goal: become a certified Dutch translator.
